Jon’s work has spanned several industries, five cities, three countries, and two continents. He currently works for WellSpan Health as the Manager of R&D in Innovations. The author of a book on the ethics of attention, he previously lead improvement work for inpatient experience at Lancaster General Health, where he also helped launch their Center for Health Care Innovation. Jon has facilitated learning, streamlined communications, and improved workflows in professional, university, and non-profit sectors for over two decades, including work for a nationally celebrated communications firm and the world’s largest architecture firm.
Jon is also an Executive Communications coach specializing in Executive Presence training. Through workshops and one-to-one sessions, Jon helps executives transform their approaches to writing and public speaking to present their strongest and most authentic selves. He draws on his extensive background in theatre, which includes performing in the street in the Swiss Alps, a 700-seat arena stage in Washington, DC, a converted church in New York, and a semi-active warehouse in Chicago. Jon earned his Ph.D. and M.A. from Northwestern University, his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, and the Diplôme from l’Ecole International du Théàtre Jacques Lecoq .
